Queer Arts Collective (QAC) is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to uplifting LGBTQIA+ artists and cultural workers by fostering vibrant creative communities, advancing equity in the arts, and creating spaces where queer stories can thrive. We produce exhibitions, workshops, and events that center queer experiences and cultivate a sense of belonging.
Position Summary
We're seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Website Manager to maintain, optimize, and evolve our website. In addition to ensuring technical performance and accessibility, this role is responsible for helping artists and community members access key resources through the site and related messaging formats (e.g., webpages, blog posts, event portals).
Key Responsibilities

Manage and update website content using CMS (e.g., WordPress), ensuring accurate, timely, and inclusive communication

Ensure the website is accessible, responsive, and reflects our values and programs

Develop and maintain resource pages, artist portals, and blog content that support participating artists and collaborators

Collaborate with the communications and programs teams to ensure web-based messaging aligns with artist and community needs

Monitor website performance and troubleshoot technical issues

Assist with event follow-up communications and post-campaign acknowledgments.
Ideal Qualifications

2+ years experience in a communication field

Strong proficiency with Wix (or similar CMS), or willing to learn

Understanding of accessibility, UX, and SEO best practices

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Enthusiasm for QAC’s mission and LGBTQIA+ equity.
